Kindergarten Graduation

June 11, 2008 Savannah officially graduated from Kindergarten. All of the kindergarten classes put on a singing presentation in the gym for family and friends of the graduating classes. The teachers put on a slide show of the kids from events through out the year. After this was done, we went back to the classroom where Savannah's class did a few more songs. The teacher called their names out one by one and they came up to shake her hand and get a diploma. Savannah's teacher Mrs. Floyd handout gift bags she made up of fun and educational items for over the summer. It was a great day and Savannah was truly excited. Although later on Savannah would go on to say: "Mom how come you didn't cry when I graduated?" I replied: "Don't you worry, I will cry plenty when you graduate from high school and move away." She didn't like my answer one bit. She thought I should have cried and that would have meant I was proud of her. I told her I was proud of her but I didn't need to cry to show her that.
