Hailey's Birthday

Hailey and (cousin) Jack. :o)

Hailey turned 3 on June 8, 2008. We celebrated her birthday a week early in California at my mom's house. We had all the relatives living close by come out to celebrate. Hailey wanted a Woody party, unfortunately Woody is like 13 years old and out dated for the most part. So, we opted for Buzz and that didn't turn out so well either. In the end it was a Toy Story themed party. We bought a cake that was green and purple just like the cartoon Buzz Light Year. My mom found by lucky chance a box of toy story mini characters. So we took all of those and put them all over this cake with a candle. The napkins, hats and cups were all Buzz. The rest were lime green and blue in honor of the Buzz themed color.

It was a great party. Hailey got clothes and toys..one of her favorite toys she got from two uncles and their families were the Incredible Hulk fists. You put them on your own hands and punch them. One of the fists makes noise and talks. A good friend of the family gave her some money and she said: "OOH Money for the bank." (Or something very close to that.) It was funny, she knows all about the bank because we are always going to there to make deposits.

All in all it was a good event and she had lots of fun and the cake was awesome! :o)

As for cousin Jack, that is my brother Jeremy and sister in law Krista's pug. He is their "child" so hence the comment. :o) Hailey loves this dog. She hugs and kisses him and plays with him. We had to get a photo with them and his hat on.
