A tree hunting we will go...

We went tree hunting with The Widings: I like how Ansen was hanging over Dana's arm. :o)

(Dave had to work, so he missed the tree hunting fun.)

I bought some donuts and juice and brought it over to the Widing's for "breakfast". lol We piled up in the Widing's van and the Maughan's truck. We headed up to Roy's tree farm and off we went hunting for a tree. Jason was awesome; he found our tree that we are standing in front of. John and Tish had a hard time deciding which tree to get. Jason found all kinds of trees as he told Dana to pick which one she liked. In the end we got awesome trees all for $30.00 and the kids had fun. They sure fell a lot and it was muddy too. Jayden Widing found some sticks that looked like deer antlers and put them on her head which the kids loved. We even got lucky enough to have a little bit of snow rain on our heads. :o)

After the tree's were cut down by Roy himself and then hauled to the front, we had some hot chocolate and cookies that the Widing's brought up with them. By this time we are all muddy and cold as could be! The youngest kids were getting cranky so we packed it up and headed home! Thanks to John, he helped me get my tree out of his truck's bed and on to my porch.
