I hope every one else had a lovely Mother's Day. I spent mine sick and in my recliner almost all day. I woke up at 7 am because I couldn't sleep and I needed to call the primary presidency 1st counselor to say I won't be coming to church. At this point I sounded horrible and I am sporting a 101.00 fever. I have the chills and aches really bad. Pretty much my day was phone calls, recliner and screaming children. Dave did 2 loads of dishes so now my sink is cleaned out. He sorted the laundry the right way and did a few loads. The girls kept coming to me when they were mad about something. I tried to put out their fires, made them breakfast and a second lunch. Helped them to get their hair done and watched a LOT of cartoons with them that day. Finally after being sick and annoyed, I got up and unloaded some dishes and started a load which Dave blocked me from furthering. So I went to do laundry, well I didn't realize how cruddy I was feeling at that point, so I stopped due to lack of energy. Eventually Dave takes the girls out of the house for 3 hours and I had a nice break of quietness.
So that is how I spent Mother's Day. Savannah made me a precious card and potted flower in a jar that she decorated at school. The card was so sweet it made me teary eyed. On Saturday we went to my in-laws spite my sickness and Savannah's. I wish for my bodies sake that I had stayed home and for the fact that I could have made everyone else sick. I tried to stay clear of everyone most of the night. I can't say I had a bad Mother's Day, I was more frustrated that I was sick.
