Sunbeam party & Hula Lessons

Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam!

Hailey officially became a Sunbeam last Sunday. We now have 8 new energetic 3-3 1/2 year olds in this class. Hailey's best buddy Ansen is in her class. (I just realized that they will be spending 7 days a week together with all that our families do together.)

Today Hailey's teacher Sister Lunt had a Sunbeam party at McDonald's. I have never seen such quiet kids who ate all of their food as I did today. lol They played in the McDonald's play area, ate and played lots more. They had so much fun. Sister Lunt played with the kids in the winding slide thing. I was impressed, I would have gotten stuck in that thing! lol This was a great way for the kids to get to know their teacher. One of the little girls told Sister Lunt about the free kiddie cones that McDonald's does only at the counter. So of course we had to do that! :o)
All in all it was fun.

ALOHA!
Savannah and Hailey had Hula Lessons today with their buddies Jayden, Braley, April and Ansen. Every time Sister Fernandez would say something in Hawaiian, Hailey would repeat it back even though she wasn't supposed to. She had the kids laughing. I was impressed both girls paid good attention and followed the teacher very well. It was cute watching them. When we got home Savannah told her dad that Hailey was playing. Hailey said: I wasn't playing I pay attention. (It sounded cuter out a mouth that can't pronounce all of her words yet.)

What cute sunbeams, now if only Aaron were one year older, he'd love to be with Hailey! Oh well, looks like they had fun. I love that picture of the 2 girls together at hula class, what a great shot of them doing the dance!
